I play mostly floris mod, but I think most of this is true for native. Win a tournament, buy a couple productive enterprises, rinse and repeat, and you'll usually achieve a reasonably comfortable financial situation early in the game. You literally just download the mod, which should be a zipped folder unzip the folder and cut/paste the mod folder inside the unzipped folder into your Modules folder. I had this same concern for a long time, but it's actually pretty easy. I don't really understand how to safely and properly run em. I loathe to admit this, but I'm kind of a pleb when it comes to mods.
